Third Course:  Fondue Fusion

Fourth Course:  Chocolate Fondue

Amazing!
While this place is a little pricey, we go here for special occasions where splurging on a meal is okay.

Dim Sum @ Bellaire TX

Feeling adventurous? Give this place a try!   This restaurant - Ocean Palace is in the heart of the Vietnamese town (HongKong IV market).  Rolling food cart from sesame tapioca balls, to dumplings, to squid, to chicken feet.  We tried it all. Some of it was better than expected and some of it was as horrifying for my daughters (namely the chicken's feet). Though some of the ladies pushing the carts don't speak English very well, they are polite and try to explain to you what the food item is.

Whew!   It was delish.

Friday

Steak & Shake

Well, we cannot wait for the Steak and Shake to open on our side of town. So, when we saw one on the other side of town. We just have to try it.   Burger is okay, fries are fantastic and shake is yum.

The Sharpener of the Century, I reckon....

One of my co-teacher, Mrs. Turner introduced me to Classroom Friendly Supplies Pencil Sharpener.  She was so excited to show me, because like me, she was in search for that best sharpener all her teaching life (34 years to be exact).

Now, let me tell you  - It was quiet and easy to use. It holds the pencil in tight and sharpens to a point.
It's a great size for kids and doesn't require much setup at all.The sharpener comes with an attachment that allows you to secure it to a table so that there is little movement as you sharpen your pencil.  It didn't take very long and there was no awkward stop/start motion like you experience with other sharpeners.

Unfortunately, they were out of stock that day in October.  Finally, they are back on stock and I can't wait for my order to come.
