First day of 2012

We don't do New Years resolution. To me, waiting for some magic day on the calendar to declare a change is pointless. Change now, change always…don’t put off change when you see a need for improvement.
Anyways, to start the year right, we went to Chuy's for lunch... Yum!

Girls food MineMy honey's
Check out Chuy's when you are in town.

Countdown to 2012

Fun-filled countdown activities to welcome 2012.

Here's we go!

Some of the activities: Making moustaches..
Making their own pizza...

Making tile coasters.. the boys favorite!

In 2012 we will be making more family memories. I hope that you will find time to do the same. Have a blessed 2012.

Summer

Wow.. Literally, the last 7 weeks has been mostly lived out of suitcase or another. That's not a complaint. I love traveling. It is however, the re-entry into "real" life of which I am none too fond.

Well, we have enjoyed this summer so far:

1. Trip to the beach with friends. A long glorious week of sand, rafting, sand, seafood, kayak, sun, and did I mention sand?

2. My sister Ann came to visit us for 3 wonderful weeks.. wish she could stay longer. Showing her around Houston and beyond was beyond fun.

3. Trip to Southern California. I can tell you I am themed park out. Great to meet with my aunt, cousins, niece/nephew and of course my friend Tata.

4. Trip to Great Wolf Lodge and Dallas with my girls. A long weekend of water fun, it was amazing except for the swimsuit wearing part. Dallas... oh so wonderful.

And now we are home. The staycation part of summer vacation has now begun. Bliss!

Friday

Bullritos..

Review: Just went for the first time and LOVED it. The place was clean and very efficient.

As you come in the door, be ready to pick up a marker and bag

then mark your food choices on the side counters. When you are ready, just go up to the register where the clerk will make sure you marked everything correctly. You can choose between tacos, burritos, bowls, and nachos. All the ingredients are totally up to you!

I ordered a tacos filled with carne guisada(all of their beans are vegetarian and fat-free), jalapeno, greeen pepper and onions.

Cb ordered bullrito wth steak

My dear husband ordered bullrito pulled pork Also, there is free soft serve (vanilla). I am not wowed with their chips though, it's hard for me... :( All in all - Food is great, Service is quick & friendly, Atmosphere is interesting variety of seating options, from tables and booths to stools and lounge chairs, Price is reasonable, we spent $22.00 that includes soda.
